What the Letters Mean
The certifications our technicians hold come from the IICRC, the standards body for the restoration industry, and each one is a course of training and testing against published standards. In one line each:
- WRTWater Damage Restoration Technician. The core credential for water losses, covering water categories, extraction, and drying fundamentals.
- ASDApplied Structural Drying. The advanced drying credential, focused on drying wet structures in place with metered verification.
- AMRTApplied Microbial Remediation Technician. The mold credential, covering containment, removal, and worker and occupant safety.
- FSRTFire and Smoke Damage Restoration Technician. The fire credential, covering smoke behavior, soot cleanup, and odor management.
